This is a great recipe but 1/3 cup of sugar is too much if u use syrup. I will cut the sugar in half when I make these again. They are fluffy and everything I love about a Waffle House waffle except they are just too sweet when I add my syrup. Without syrup they taste divine but I gotta have my syrup.
